BUT Speech@FIT
Research groups
speech.fit.vut.czBUT Speech@FIT deals with artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to speech data mining: speaker and language identification, speech recognition, and keyword spotting. The group was a key contributor to wide-spread use of neural architectures in speech and language processing (Tomas Mikolov, the founder of RNN language models and word2vec, is our PhD graduate). In recent years, the scope was enlarged towards integration with natural language processing (NLP), automated dialog systems, and voice deep-fake detection. In recent years, the scope was enlarged towards integration with natural language processing (NLP), automated dialog systems, and voice deep-fake detection. The group extensively publishes and provides most of its research code as open-source.
